Through our grassroots food hub, we strive to foster self-sufficiency, sustainability, and social impact. By connecting people & resources while addressing social needs, we build resilient communities.
Our Vision is to design a system where communities rely on vibrant hubs that champion self-sufficiency, prioritize local food exchange, and create opportunities for social impact. Our History
In 2021, local producers came together with a shared vision to build a better food system through a grassroots community development model that fosters self-sufficiency and social impact in Northwestern Ontario.
The 807 Food Co-op & Food Hub connects communities across Northwestern Ontario through not for profit services like underemployment training programs, winter lunches, skill building workshops and a food exchange hub for local food producers.
